While prescriptions for weight loss medication cannot be guaranteed for every patient, if you are 18 years of age or older and meet specific criteria such as weight and certain associated health conditions, your healthcare provider may consider you eligible for a prescription. To get started with Fridays, you'll need a BMI of 20 or higher. Our medical team uses this as a baseline to make sure GLP-1 treatment is a safe fit for you. Not sure if you qualify? Take our 2-minute eligibility quiz and we'll let you know on the spot.
At this time, patients have to be at least 18 years old to participate in the program.
Fridays offers multiple subscription types, all of which include comprehensive coaching and services with no hidden fees, membership costs, or lab charges. Each plan provides regular virtual consultations with a clinician, prescription management and renewals (if applicable), support with insurance coverage for medications, and access to 1:1 nutritionist coaching, ongoing chat support, and health guides.
Subscription charges may appear on your credit card as "OPNLP FRIDAYS."
Brand name medication pricing is based on insurance coverage.
Your clinical care team will work with you to identify the most affordable and suitable medication based on your health requirements and insurance coverage. GLP-1 prescriptions are usually more cost-effective when covered by insurance, but the exact expense will depend on your insurance plan. If you are uninsured, underinsured, or if the medication is not covered by your insurance, your provider may assist you in finding a prescription discount card or an alternative medication that is more cost effective.
At present, insurance coverage does not include virtual visits for our program.
Our team consists of physicians and licensed nurse practitioners who possess the qualifications to prescribe medications, order lab tests, and evaluate your symptoms and health objectives. They are well-equipped to develop a personalized care plan tailored to your specific needs.
