Both the Wegovy®§ pill and the Wegovy®§ pen contain semaglutide as the active ingredient— but they're designed to be taken very differently. Here's what they have in common:

- Weight loss results: At the highest doses, the pill produces an average of around 14% body weight reduction, while the pen averages ~15% at the standard 2.4mg dose — and up to ~21% with the higher 7.2mg option — both meaningful, clinically validated outcomes.
- Titration: Both start at a low dose and are gradually increased over time based on your individual response and goals.

Your medication is billed monthly after your licensed clinician approves your dosage:

What are the most common Wegovy®§ side effects?
The most common side effects are GI-related and tend to be most noticeable when you're starting out or stepping up in dose — which is exactly why we titrate slowly. They include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, stomach pain, bloating, burping, gas, heartburn, headache, fatigue, dizziness, and in some cases hair loss or changes in skin sensation.
